What would be so good about 5 seconds of stillness ?
How's that going to put a dent in your level of anxiety, stress or feeling of unease ?
Because the way you see it, you need to sit, or meditate, for probably 20mins minimum to make any difference. Then you'll ramp that up to say you SHOULD be doing it everyday.
For you to feel the magical transformation that's possible in 5 seconds of stillness, you just need to press the pause button on thinking.
And then what ?
Pay attention. And leave everything alone. Don't go towards anything. Be absolutely still.
Let the body’s sensations be present.
Let thoughts appear in the mind.
Let the situation you’re in be the way it is.
